Calendar Give Away (Closed)

To celebrate the first Hiking in S.E. Qld calendar and the start of High and Wide I’m giving away two calendars to readers over the next week including shipping within Australia.

2015 Calendar

To enter, respond to this post with a comment stating the main geographical feature of the new High and Wide logo and where the original image was taken from. No likes or follows are necessary however, would be appreciated. You can find my facebook link at the top of the page.

If more than two people enter the correct spot I’ll pick two at random. If no one gets it, I’ll pick the closest. One entry per person. Giveaway will finish at midnight on Sunday the 14 Dec (if there are enough entries) so there is plenty of time to receive them before Christmas. Good luck.

  1. At first glance glance my immediate thought was Mt Mitchell (remnant of a volcanic plug) at Cunningham’s Gap. But it could possibly be a volcanic plug ( Beerwah?), at the Glass House Mountains? Now I’m seeing the shape in lots of mountains I’ve been. It’s going to be eating at me until I find out. But then there’s a bit of Greville about it too! Tricky! The new site looks great. Best wishes with it. 🙂

  2. It’s the southern face of Mt Lindsay. I’d guess taken from Barney View Rd. And you were wearing a green shirt at the time. 🙂

I’ve just stumbled across your blog. It’s great. Beautiful photos and great articles. It’s nice to see a different perspective of walks I’ve done and info on others I haven’t tried yet – but now will. Keep enjoying life.

    • Thanks for the kind words Donna. I might have to look through the back catalog to see about the shirt. If you got that right I think that might qualify for an instant win. 😛
